Pilot Studies
Pilot scale evaluation commonly follows a scoping or desktop study, as shown schematically in the following diagram. Field trial of the selected treatment system or integrated management solution is an important step in the implementation process. The aim of the piloting is to provide a systematic assessment of the performance of the proposed system and confirm the capital and operating cost estimates prior to a making a final commercial decision.
Geo-Processors has over 15 years of experience with piloting of its treatment systems on a wide variety of produced waters, including energy generation, coal seam gas production, municipal wastewater treatment, water recycling, and irrigation.

- Confirm the performance of the selected treatment processes through batch and continuous operations.
- Confirm mass and energy balances through conduct of technical audits and product QC sampling during production runs.
