Treatment of brine from desalination of municipal recycled water - A major feasibility study by Geo-Processors of the options for sustainable management of brine from desalination of recycled water was recently completed. The study was carried out on behalf of a major Australian water authority who are currently considering a proposal for piloting of the technology for detailed evaluations.
Potassium minerals recovery from a saline drainage system - Testing, process design and specifications for potassium fertiliser salts production from a Northern Territory saline palaeo-drainage system.
Mine effluent treatment - A study into the options for reuse of effluent from a gold mining operations in NSW was recently completed by Geo-Processors.

U.S. patent grant for Geo-Processors’ core technology - The U.S. patent for Geo-Processors’ core technology for saline water treatment was granted in September 2009 and recently published by USPTO. The Australian patent for the same technology was granted in late 2008. Copies of these patents can be obtained from the website of respective patent offices or by contacting Geo-Processors, directly.
Delivery of SAL-PROC™ test unit - In September 2010, Geo-Processors took delivery of a skid mounted test unit manufactured by Baldwin Industrial Systems Pty Ltd of Sydney. The unit incorporates a dual-stage process based on Geo-Processors’ proprietary SAL-PROC™ technology. According to Company’s Chief Technologist, the flexibility in the design and operation of this module allows the testing of saline-alkaline effluent from a variety of sources for the sequential or selective extraction of commercial grade minerals and chemicals. The modular nature of the design enables the units to be manufactured and deployed quickly, moved from site to site and combined into larger units. The delivery of this unit has moved the company closer to establishing its first public demonstration facility, to be announced shortly.

Residuals management options study - An options study of the residuals management was completed for a municipal water district in Midwest U.S.A.
Coalmine water treatment - A detailed design and costing of a SAL-PROC facility for achieving zero discharge brine management from a proposed desalination facility at a South African coalmine site was successfully completed and submitted to client.
Oil/gas field water treatment for recovery of salts - Detailed design of a large salt recovery plant for tendering purpose was completed and delivered to client from Gulf Region.
Oilfield produced water treatment - A study of SAL-PROC processing of brine generated from treatment of oilfield waters was completed on behalf of a major oil producer in Eurasia.
